Why it matters

When inspections are recorded differently by every team, nobody can compare them. InspecTech exists to make them the same everywhere.

InspecTech describes itself in three words: secure, standardised, scalable. It is an internal operational system, not a public product, and it is built accordingly.

InspecTech is a private system. Everything past the sign-in is confidential, so this page shows only what is public and says nothing we cannot show.

The challenge

Inspections and inventory are often run on paper, spreadsheets and habit. Standards drift between sites, stock counts lag behind reality, and reporting means collecting it all by hand.

What we built

One system covering four areas the product names itself: secure inspection management, real-time inventory tracking, comprehensive reporting and streamlined workflow. Access is controlled from the first screen: accounts are issued by an administrator, and two-factor authentication is available at sign-in.

  • Inspection management
  • Inventory tracking
  • Reporting
  • Role-based access
  • Two-factor authentication

What the system covers

  1. Inspection management

Inspections run and recorded to a single standard.

  2. Inventory tracking

Stock positions kept current in real time.

  3. Reporting

Reporting across both, from one source.

  4. Workflow

The steps between people made explicit.

What makes it interesting

Security is the first screen.

There is no public sign-up. Accounts come from an administrator, and two-factor authentication is offered at the door. For an operational system, who can get in is the first design decision, not the last.

What is in it

  • Administrator-issued accounts

No self-registration. People are added by someone responsible for them.

  • Two-factor authentication

A second factor offered alongside the password.

  • Password recovery

A self-service route back in, so support is not the bottleneck.

  • One layout, two sizes

The sign-in is designed for a desk and for a phone.

How it looks, and why

Indigo into violet, soft lilac surfaces and a shield for a mark. Institutional, but not grey.
